This page explains what happens to your information when you buy or read ChatGPT for Mom & Dad. We've tried to write it the same way we write everything else — in plain language, without the parts that only exist to protect a lawyer.
When you buy the guide, checkout is handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor and merchant of record. We never see or store your card details — Lemon Squeezy processes payment and collects only what it needs to do that: your name, email address, and country (for tax purposes).
We receive your email address and purchase details from Lemon Squeezy so we can send your download link, answer support questions, and send the occasional follow-up email about the guide (see below). We don't collect anything beyond that — no browsing history, no device fingerprinting, no account creation required to buy.
We don't sell, rent, or share your email address with anyone else. Ever.
Our landing page may use the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising pixel to measure whether an ad led to a purchase, so we can tell which ads are actually working. This tracks anonymized visit and purchase events — it doesn't read anything else on your device. If you'd rather not be tracked this way, most browsers' built-in tracking protection or an ad blocker will stop it.
All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who are PCI-compliant and handle card data according to their own security standards (not ours — we never touch it). Refund requests within 7 days of purchase are honored in full, no questions asked — just reply to your receipt email.
This guide is written for adults. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. For most people this is just an email address in Lemon Squeezy's system and our mailing list — removing you from both takes one email.
